I bought my first Westy in 1988 when I was 48 - a 1979 2.0L air cooled and restored it. Drove it for nearly ten years then sold it in Regina Saskatchewan. I have recently purchased a 1984 Westy which I am working on at the moment. Also bought an 85 Vanagon for parts. I started late as a VW bus addict but now at 61 I am going strong - just wish I had more space and the money to buy some more.
