Graham You need to take off some material from the hex stud so that the epoxy will hold. What I did was to get a dremel and grind off the middle section so that the stud was thinner in the middle than the end. This was just so that it would lock in the hole with the glue. I also cleaned the hole up with the dremel so the epoxy would bite. I tried super glue before but it did not hold for long. Hope this helps. Aloha, Ed
