Hi All,

Every once in a while Ron and Bus Depot take a bit of a "hit" from folks on the list who were not satisfied with their order or service....so today I'd like to heap a bit of praise Ron's way.

For Christmas I bought my son a bunch of parts (during Ron's one-day list-member sale) for his 82 Vanagon. (What else would I be buying but VW stuff for my kids anyway!) One of the things we bought was a driver's side mirror.

Now mind you the van isn't on the road yet...but my son insisted it had to be put on..NOW Dad!!!

So we took the old one off and put the new one on. But the new one flopped around....so we took it off and tightened the nut in the base and put it on again...but it still flopped around....so we took it off and tightened the nut a bit more...put it back on...and it still flopped around....DAD MAKE IT STOP!

So off it came again, and so we tightened a bit more and SNAP! the stud that holds the whole thing together broke.

A couple of days after Christmas (tail between legs) and explained the situation. Figured I'd get the "what the hell did you tighten it up so much" routine. But I didn't. I asked if I would send the broken mirror back and someone would look at it.

So off the mirror went to PA.

Well today, a box arrived from Bus Depot....and inside was a new mirror!

Thanks Ron!

Ric
