These are the toys of a 46yr old car nut:

#1: 1965 Karmann Ghia (1974). My first car, sold in 1977 to buy #4. #2: 1965 Beetle w/ blown engine (1976) (need to learn if I dare do the engine in the Ghia myself!) #3: 1960 Beetle Convertible (1977). Restoration project. Completed and sold to purchase #5. #4: 1968 Ghia Convertible (1977); Sold in 1981 due to divorce. #5: 1969 Porsche 912/5 (1980). Sold #3 after restoration to buy this one. I still have it! #6: 1973 Porsche 914 Limited Edition 2.0 (1981). Ex-wife ended up with this one, I kept the 912. #7: 1971 Westfalia (1981). Sold to buy #8. #8: 1974 Porsche 914 1.8 (1985). Beater bought to use on track; Ended up restoring it. Still own it. #9: 1983 Westfalia (1986); Had to have another bus. Sold to buy #10. #10: 1987 Nissan Stanza 4WD Wagon (1990). Sold to buy #11 at 278,000 miles. #11: 1987 Westfalia Syncro (1990); Had to have a Syncro. Still own it. #12: 1988 Mercedes 300TE (1997). Still own it.
