Toyota maybe headquartered in Japan, but they employ directly 28,000 people in this country. Their direct payroll is 1.8 billion dollars. That's a LOT of contributions. Many Toyota vehicles are designed and built here, and only here. By the same token, Where is Dalmier-Chrysler headquartered? Right, Germany. And them there Fords, where are they built? Right, many of those American jobs have been shipped south of the border. I wouldn't be so fast to pull the nationalism string. They're aren't many American companies left. Buy the best vehicle for YOU. The companies are in it for only one thing, profit. Any other view of our economic system is foolish. tim the cynic in san jose _________________________________________________________________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com |
