Remember, you have a RARE and desirable vehicle that will be hard to replace. Then take it to the most venal VW dealer you can find for the body work estimate. Be cool when the insurer offers you a pittance. Let them know what prices your research has turned up. Don't agree to anything offered during the first call unless it is free sex for life.
