A co-worker of mine just became a rep for Mattracks in our area. He has them on a Suburban parked on the ski area behind the lodge. Looks like a pretty neat set-up. Be interesting to see them on a syncro. I think they would work better on a vehicle with an automatic transmission. They do not glide too well when you push in the clutch. He has had it up to 40mph on the highway. Says it does well but likes to wander in the turns. He drove it up the ski run to get it behind the lodge and claims it climbs pretty good. They start at about $18K so they are not cheap. Still cheaper than a snow cat, which costs about $250K.
