<< Has anyone actually used this harness and does it really work to get rid of that "lugging" that sometimes happens. Is it worth the price? >>

The "lugging," as you describe it, has only happened to our bus on trips out west. With over 160,000 miles on the rig, and for around the same price as the factory harness, (which VWOA should give away to anyone who needs it) I treated it to a brandy-new AFM, purchased from Ken at Vanagain. As to whether it fixed the problem or not, I'll let you all know after we do Utah in the spring.
