I have a 1992 Type252 T3 Syncro van (VIN *WV2zzz25NG000942*) with an MV series Digifant engine which I have owned for the past three years. It has now done 165,000km and the radiator has sprung a very small and slow leak at the bottom on the right side. There is the tell-tale white deposit of dried-up coolant around the leak area.

I am not used to modern cars with radiators, having owned air-cooled VWs since 1968. Can this radiator be repaired by an ordinary radiator repair workshop? Or, do I have to buy a new one?
