OK, here goes again... The below listed vans belong to my neighbor, Scott, who is looking to sell both in order to get a more family oriented vehicle (don't ask):

1981 Westy - Automatic engine is running decent, but has some lifter noise and previous owner removed the emmissions. Body is in nice shape with no rust that I noted. Interior is good. No water tank. Top has new seal. Color is the orangy-brown that VW was so fond of in the early 80's. Asking $3900.

1986 Syncro GL 7-passenger (project) - Nice interior. Body and paint are both in nice shape except for 2 creases; 1 below the drivers door, 1 along the sliding door. The engine was removed by the previous owner, but was supposedly running at the time. However, Scott has almost everything to do a complete overhaul, including pistons and cylinders. Rebuild the engine, or sell it to finance the I4 conversion... Asking $1900.

Both vans are located in Martinsburg, WV; about 1 1/2 hours west of DC. A possible trade would be considered for both vans.

Contact Scott at (304)267-4699 for more detailas. Please do not contact me as I am not selling these for him, only posting them and have no more details other than what I have given. --
