Having the same torque at the flywheel at any given road speed
would not translate into having the same torque at the wheels with
two differently geared transmissions. The higher geared R&P will
deliver less torque at the wheels, regardless of what the torque
is at the flywheel. Similarly, if you hold your 6 foot cheater bar
right in the middle, you cannot deliver the same torque to that
stubborn nut (assuming you apply the same force).
