I really think that the problem comes from somewhere in the wiring. When I turn the key there's always like 5-6 seconds delay before it starts even when temperature isn't much cold.

I'm going to try to fix it my way. I'll take a spare fuel pump relay and connect it directly on the battery and the starters solenoid. I will connect the 2 other connection to a small switch. This way the current won't have to travel 30 feet of wire. To start, I'll turn the key to on and push on the small switch.

I'm like bypassing the problem. I'll give you news about my budget friendly solution

I thought about that too. Instead, I was going to run a ground wire thru a pushbutton starting switch, for the relay I already bought from BD, and take the 12v for the relay from the alternator. That's the closest place to get voltage for the starter, and all I have to do is run a thicker ground wire to compensate for the distance. It should work, in theory.
