Speed limits have nothing to do with safety; they are licenses for the govt to tax you on exceeding the arbitrary limit. So... no speed limits on German Autobahns, or anywhere out-of-town in Australia's Northern Territory.

>Never drive while intoxicated >Never drive uninsured >Always wear your seat belt >Take a defensive driving course

In my experience these concentrate on "speed kills" crap.

>Check/Maintain your brakes regularly >Check your tires and tire pressures regularly

I would add: Don't drive with soft dampers Don't drive a camper (unstable) Always indicate well ahead at turns, parking and lane-changes -- Andrew Grebneff 165 Evans St, Dunedin 9001, New Zealand <andrew.grebneff@stonebow.otago.ac.nz> Seashell, Macintosh, VW/Toyota van nut Friends don't let friends do Windows
