I didn't get any directions with mine.  I assumed they would go on the
inside of the windows and I ordered blue to match my van.
  Now it appears they are sticky on the back side.  If I put them on the
outside of the glass, they will get scraped off with the snow and ice.
If I put them on the body, they won't show up. :-(
