I've used truck stops for bathing - and they can be fantastic.

The one in Grand Forks, ND is free when you fill up. You get a locking suite with a shower room, and an ajoining bathrom with towels, sink, chair, vanity etc. Like a good hotel!

I was so amazed - I talked about it for weeks.

Others can be more spartan. Thing is - the trend is toward more elaborate ones. You can always look and go elsewhere if you don't like the first one you try.
