Not that it would work in winter, but I replaced the faucet in my westy with one from a 1994 eurovan westfalia (canadian version). It is a pull out type faucet with the on/off switch on the faucet head. You pull it out the window or front door and "hose" yourself off outside the van. The westfalia faucet works good because of where the switch is mounted, you can hold it and control water flow with one hand. Water does not have to be running all the time.
