Subject: AFM upgrade,
grounding and cleaning with electrical contact cleaner

Thanks for all the tips folks. Today I grounded the AFM and cleaned the resistive surface with electrical contact cleaner. I think I have covered allt he bases for a smooth running vanagon.

Rather than glue the boot back on the AFM I'm inclined to tape it up securely with electrical tape to allow easier access in the future should I want to clean in there again. Any comments or suggestions anyone?
