I just had someone point me in the direction of the aircooled tranny. He suggested it for the obviously higher gearing. I was concerned it wouldn't be able to push it either. This would be with a stock 1.6L NA. Has anyone tried it?

Brad, if you are thinking of the air cooled for your Diesel, I doubt that the stock engine will be able to push the higher gear ratios.
