I think I might use this method, either with a band of iron or box-section; probably a band, as I can predrill it and bolt one end on, then bend the other end into shape on the bumper mount (I don't have the van available to form the band to fit).

The long bolts run horizontally through the holes punched in the front of the bumper mount and exit the holes under the van's chin.

Does anyone know what the available hole spacings are in the bumper mount? So that I can drill a band of steel to fit these holes and weld channel-section A-frame mounts to it here, then take it and just fit it to the van? I'd want to use 4 or more bolts. Hole diameter needed also! -- Andrew Grebneff 165 Evans St, Dunedin 9001, New Zealand <andrew.grebneff@stonebow.otago.ac.nz> Seashell, Macintosh, VW/Toyota van nut Friends don't let friends do Windows
