Subject: Diesel injection pump setting
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

Hi All,

Finally back - I won't say how many grand later - after being down and out in Maryland.

New head and Raceware studs, no leaks! But: shop guy wants me to ask the list if he set the injection pump right (86 degrees according to the manual). While this does not make me feel very confident (he admitted mine was the third Diesel van he's seen), at least he deferred to a higher intelligence.... So, any advice kindly accepted and passed on!

This is the infamous 82 Westy Diesel, back in slow motion thanks to Karl M. and many kind people on the list!

Teresa (in no-VW-land, Peoria IL)
