I found that even in hill infested central NY the "aircooled" gearbox was the
answer. the ratios in the original box were a "worst case" set up..fully
loaded and pulling some impossible grade in the rockys..
I've used the lower numerical ratio in several vans and was pleased. the best
set up was the 72-24 gearset used in the 091 case..but that's a big machining
job
