Subject: Simple questions?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

These are pretty newbie questions and although I have been reading faithfully PRIOR to buying a Vanagon, I now have a different set of questions following the purchase. The van is a 90 Multi-van.

1. What is the simplest way to climb into the tent top? I have two kids who'll share the space and I can give them a boost but what do others do?

2. The tires on the van have some life left in them but will be replaced soon. Currently, there are two sizes on the van. 185R14 on the front and 205R14 on the back. Is there any reason or advantage to this other than cheapness or laziness?

3. This has to do with original factory anti-theft measures. The radio wouldn't work without a code being put in (found that) but there is also a red blinking light on the dash under the emergency hazard light switch. There is also a toggle switch located on the driver's side low on the center console. They seem to be related but darned if I can figure out how and what it's for........besides blinking. Anybody got any ideas on this?
