Hello all, I've got a quick question before I start 'troubleshooting'. My starter and solenoid are fine, but it won't crank from the ignition switch. Right now I've got a nice long wire running from the solenoid. When I want to start it, I just turn the key to 'on' position and then touch the solenoid wire to the hot post of my battery. Is there something between the ignition switch and the solenoid on the starter besides wire? It would do this intermittently in the past, but would later start. I hope to get to it this weekend, but figured I would ask for 'sage advice' before embarking on this little exercise. At this point in time, I think it may be my ignition switch, but I'll have to put the multi-meter on to see. Thanks in advance
