I ran this oil in my previous Westy, an '82 Diesel-to-Jetta gas conversion. I ran fine and all, and I revved it like crazy (Diesel gearing). No real consumption problems in the 50k miles that I owned it, but it developed a leak! Minor, but bugged me, and I always suspected that oil. Others have an opinion on this?

I have been running Mobil 1 in my current WBX no problems, since 30k mi, now 44k.

I put this in my Westy Sunday and when I started it today (mon) it cranked like it does in the summer, not labored. It also ran smoothly right away, not initially labored as it usually does in the winter here (Salt Lake-25/30 degrees). Anyone else have this kind of exlperience or is it my imagination?! I'm using 5/50 wgt. Bob Stevens '91 Westy
