Following is a post from Phaedra, all nice and warm down in Mexico. Unfortunately maybe too warm. She asked me to pass it on to the list for it's collective wisdom. I'll collect them all from the list and pass them on.

Mike

I think maybe the fan on my van has quit. Yesterday I realized I hadn't heard it lately when I shut the engine off after a long drive. Too, when I am climbing a grade, or caught for more than just a very few minutes in stop & go traffic, the temp needle edges off the mark, tho no light has come on! I keep both front & back heaters wide open when this happens, which keeps the needle where it belongs, but I am concerned, naturally..

Would you mind putting this situation out for discussion? If there's anything I could/should know re the fan situation BEFORE I talk to the shop, it would be good. My coolant is fresh & not leaking a single drop. Otherwise, the vanīs running great so far. Let me know what you find out, if anything.

Phaedra
