Good idea -- if you can arrange it so that it doesn't overstretch the
terminal boot.  Simply stripping the jacket a millimeter or so beyond the
braid would have more or less the same effect and wouldn't make the wire
any thicker.

Which reminds me, Rich, any thoughts about using RG-174 to replace that
line?  I'm trying to think of a reason not to.  Temp, maybe?
