If you have a later model WEsty, that indentation you feel is actually a "roll pin" that holds the arm rest on. You need to carefully pry back the fabric and then use a punch and hammer to drive out the pin. Once the pin is out, you can pull the arm rest straight off the seat frame. There are some allen-head screws (as I recall) which hold the arm rest bracket onto the seat frame. Pull these out, apply some loc-tite, and reinstall them. Then reattach the arm rest, and you are all set!

Just be careful not to pinch the arm rest fabric - it will tear easily.
