Fairly easy to change. 12mm open end for the pressure line. 13mm box or socket for the mounting bolts. The brakes should not be affected. A vacuum bleeder will make bleeding the clutch easier.

Hello again, Back in Denver (one leg to go!), and the clutch master cylinder finally died last night. If I pump the clutch pedal, I can shift a time or two quickly, but that's about it.

So the question is, how major of a job is the replacement? I have one day in Denver, and a pretty good assortment of tools. If it's a really nasty one, I may hire a shop.

Once replaced, do both the brake and clutch systems have to be bled (since they seem to share a master cylinder reservoir?).

Thanks all, and talk to you again soon. bmc :) "Faith will move mountains, but you'd better bring a shovel...."
