Vinnie - Depending on where you live it'll get worse quickly or slowly. My '84 started slowly, and now a year later, I hve *NO* floor in the duct left, just a gaping maw into space. I'm selling the Van, but if I wasn't I'd have to replace the doors. You may be able to get away with sand(blasting)ing and some acid etch primer and paint. I was too late...
