been there..... done that. this could be a few things. one is the idle stabilizer. It is on the drivers side infront of the coil. They are either green or black. Two round plugs on the bottom. The plugs will plug into each other so you could bypass this thing. Another thing that can cause this is a bad temp2 sendor. There is way to check this sensor based on teh resistance and temp. You measure the resistance across the leads when the car is cold (like sitting all night). Then look in the big green bible, i mean Bentley, at the chart and see if your resistance is correct.

how is your gas milage? Poor? Are you puffing black smoke? You oxygen sensor could be bad instead or also.
