Wow! Let us know how it goes if you decide to do it.

I have a trailer hitch on my new '85 and a hippie buddy sold me a '67 Splittie with a tow-bar mounted on the front for $250...The only problem is, it's got a blown motor and is in Whitefish, MT, and I'm in Denver...

Yes, it sounds insane! Absolutely! And all I have is a tow-hook-mounted tow bar on my '85 Westy!

The tow bar is rated at 1200 lbs. The split-window bus would be towed on its own wheels using a tow bar that hooks onto the front beam. The trip is about 200 miles of fairly flat road.

Am I crazy for even thinking I can make it?

Chris.
