If your $275.00 booster is working just accept it. Anytime you are in the neighborhood like replacing the master cylinder you should check for brake fluid in the passenger side of the booster. Brake fluid leaks from leaky master cylinders can cause premature failure. To remove any fluid in there I use a turkey baster with a rubber extension hose that can reach down into the booster and suck out any fluid that is there. If you want to be meticulous you can dampen a soft cotton cloth (used cloth diaper or used T shirt) and swab out the interior then follow up with some alcohol to get any sticky residue out of the tightest crevasses.
