>Sunday I found a puddle in my (unregistered + parked in the driveway, >little bit uphill + inclined to the left) Westy, driver side. After >suspecting the door / seal for a while I saw small signs of water runs from >the fuse panel. Removed the front grill + left headlite and there was a >half inch of water on top of a cross member... Doublecheck with a folded >towel inside + rain outside - soaked next morning. Lesson learned: Garage, >park downhill or move to CA ! >HTH, >Mike, Germany >80 Westy >86 GL, both from CA well, let's see... It's damned cold here (San Jose, CA) today, been so all week. Snow down to 500 ft (~125m). Ice on the car twice this past week. Been raining off and on all weekend, though Sunday was gorgeous. Look into the mountains (hills) and they are white encrusted. Heat's turned up, nothing getting done on any of the vanagons (RVC), nor the Toyotas (oil change type stuff). And the beer is better where you are. Count yer blessing. tim in rather cool sj,ca
