Is there a DYI method for detecting the source of coolant vapor? I have a factory rebuilt WBX with about 60k on it and it really, really smells of coolant when started cold. After it warms up, it smells fine. The engine is dry except for a power steering leak and the chassis has 207k on it. Doesn't overheat. Ideas? Before panicking I'd like to see if I'm leaking anywhere. Can I do this myself, or is it time to head to a shop? john |
