or, if you're planning a potluck, think ahead about dietary needs and work a variety of dishes so that *everyone* can fill a plate.

'course, i'll be settin' near the jambalaya pot...glad i can drink at least one microbrew because i don't have to drive my van home [RVC].

and karl, be careful. if your brother is not a vegetarian, he might just bite your finger off...
