Since it is not yet Friday I would just like to say that since I intend to do a lot of camping in my Vanagon, I inquired about veggie camping to get useful information from other veggie members to create a useful check list for myself and any interested others. So far I got a lot of good ideas.

There are a lot of reasons that veggie food is ideal on a camping trip. First veggie foods do not spoil as fast as foods that need more refrigeration, the food choices are plentiful, the variety of tasty dishes are many, they are easy to prepare, and many times take less time to prepare.

And as they say in New York "You got a problem with that?"

I was pleasantly surprised at three things. 1) that there are many veggie members, 2) the very helpful and good ideas from others who were not vegetarian but had good vegetarian ideas, and the quality of the good natured fun poked at veggie people.

Personally my interpretation of the poking of fun at the veggie way was just good natured veggie bashing. I often bash potatoes or carrots and love them with salt and butter or olive oil.
