Subject: Frt rotors / wheel bearings. How to?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1

Hi- I seek your collective advice. I have new rotors and wheel bearings to install on the front of our '88. To get the bearings properly seated in the rotors do I really have to take them to a shop with a press? If I put a large enough socket on them and tap them down with a rubber mallet, would that get them seated properly? If doing this without a press, does heat become necessary?

Thanks- You guys are great...

Gary
