Subject: Ventilation controls

I sympathise. Its impossible to figure out the ventilation controls without an owners manual. Tell me this isn't one of the most stupid designs ever conceived. The same goes with the rear heater lever, who can ever remember whether up or down is on or off. The same goes for the headlight switch, is toggle left on or off? The Germans could learn something from the Jaapanese when it comes to sensible controls.

I adjust my ventilation controls twice per year - once in Spring and once in Fall - always

with the manual in one hand. Fortunately, the rear heater lever is permanenrtly off since I'm in AZ.
