I can't imagine all of those folks making fun of your vegetarian diet. As I mentioned in previous posts the best alternative to red meat is beer. Beer's not just for breakfast anymore. With the new micro breweries flourishing an individual can secure beers of many types and flavors. Since beer seems to make people *gassy* you can snack along on popcorn cooked in vegetable oil. There are a wide variety of trail mixes (I've never seen any yet with jerky in them). I prefer granola bars with my beer, the grains tend to swell up rather quickly and I can got to sleep on a full stomach. Champagne and fresh peaches or strawberries is a great breakfast and Cherios are very tasty with orange juice. Kombucha Tea is refreshing lunchtime drink. *Insure* is good with Kahloua or Drambuie.
