EARL J SMITH <r2d2@ISLANDNET.COM> said The blower motor on my 86 vanagon front heater has died. I have removed all the gubbins from up front to remove the heater assembly. What is the best way to drain enough coolant to be able to remove the hoses from the heater core? <SNIP> Earl - Last fall I replaced the blower motor on my '87. I didn't disconnect the heater core, just lifted it out and set it aside while I fought with the rest of the stuff. With the gas heater, things may be different, but it worked for me. - Mike Finkbiner '87 Westy Moscow, ID
