The auxiliary furnace in my 81 will run until the battery dies, or it runs out of gas. There is a timer for running it without the key on, but I just turn the key on and it will run on and on. There is a thermostat beneath the dashboard, so if I am driving with it on, it does cycle off and on like it should. I would expect yours would do the same, but I have been wrong before, and often :) It would be neat to convert it to propane, but I have never read of it happening. Just FYI, John |
