I've been asked about the lock-tite on the slider handle. I only use it to keep the small set screw in place. I've used the blue meduim strength with great results. I'm afraid that anything any more secure would make it imposible to remove the retainer screw to service the lock. Also, the screw should not be really tightened down. Turn it until it just touches the plug, then back out about a quarter turn. No other hardware in the handle should receive any thread lock material. Please....don't try to substitute super glue for thread lock. Yes, I've seen it happen and had to drill out the screw and replace it with a roll pin. Steve Sandlin Steve's Lock Shoppe
