Hello List, My temp gage stays consistently at 3/4 hot. I think it's bled correctly, and I get great heat in the front. Does anybody have any advice on checking the temp gage? Mine's an '84 Wolfsburg Westy with the temp gage in the lower left quadrant, below the tach. The Bentley has a troubleshooting section on 90.21, but it's for "Water-cooled from 1985". Would the procedure be the same on my '84? And what in the heck is a "tester VW 1301"? Sounds pricey. Thanks, Leo |
