80's and 81's at least had two model levels 'L' and 'L not'.
The L had refrigerators and stoves, under the body propane tanks...
The 'L not' had iceboxes and no stove.
All that I have seen are in UGLY wood grain. Raather shabby brown carpet and
Westy seats in tan with stripes that disintegrated. I have replaced them
with standard Vanagon Naugahide.
If there is an in cabinet propane tank, it's probably DPO installed and not
safe at all. Since you have no stove, I guess it only drives a
refridgerator, probably also a replacement by DPO.
My 81 has metal vents, According to the 'birthday' email I got a couple of
years ago, it was made in December of 81.
