OK, because I am just that weird....
The upper westy bed measures 47" wide x 72" long. Clearance at your feet is
10", and at your head is 40".
The lower westy bed measures 42.5" wide x 74" long. Clearance at your feet
is 29", and at your head is 37".
The bed in a 7 passenger or weekender vanagon is 60" wide x 74" long. Don't
know clearance, but it's plenty.
Getting in the upper bed can be tricky. I usually step on the passenger
captain's chair base, and push myself up. I also have a large dog food bin
that works great as a stepstool (but is in the way the rest of the time). I
am 6', and I do occasionally drop a pillow off the end of the upper bed (you
can tell I rough it...). Together, my wife and I probably weigh 350# (she's
pregnant, you know...<g>), and I have never once worried about the bed being
strong enough, even when we were practicing for pregnancy, IYKWIM.....
As to pictures, well, I'll stay clear of that for now, but maybe pmail. :)
Anyway, HTH.
bmc :)
