The 85s with solid lower control arms still use the 80-84 ATE calipers and rotors. The 86+ models use the larger Girling calipers and different rotors. The steering issue is a mixed bag, faster tighter turns but more effort. Mark 82 Westy with 85 PS front end in manual mode
