Earl, Go to the hardware or plumbing store & get two copper endcaps for 1/2" copper pipe (the sweat solder type). Drop the spare wheel and look up. The heater valve is in the line to the heater and there is an inline fitting at about the same place for the return line. The copper fittings will fit nicely inside the hoses to plug them. Erik V.
