I put a BIG (4") fisheye mirror on each side, and with just a little practice I have no blind spots, and use it to avoid denting the right side of the vehicle. The key is to get as big a fisheye as possible for better resolution. I can't believe that VW didn't put a convex mirror on the right side anyway - as far from the driver as it is, it's pretty limited in range. By the way, if your wife likes to ride with her arm on the window, put the fisheye on the top half of the mirror. Otherwise, you can't see it throught her wrist. :( Bill Marshall 85 GL Tiico PHX AZ |
