I have seen a cod in a 90 Westfalia that was imported from Germany by a Canadian military person. The family currently live in Washington DC/Virginia area. So I guess they must have been available in Germany or were custom made for them. I think you could easily make one yourself out of a piece of 10 oz canvas, 2 round poles, and 4 brackets. The brackets are like the ones you see in the hanging closet or as I call it the cloakroom. The brackets are open from the top (U shape) and the poles fall right in them.
