Subject: Frozen throttle cable!
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

I let the bus sit for two days under a half-inch or so of ice. I set the timer on the gas heater this morning before work, and it did a great job of melting the ice off the windows! Unfortunately, when I tried to actually start the bus, the gas pedal wouldn't move, and the motor wouldn't fire off. Doh! The motor has a Weber progressive conversion, and I'm guessing this is where it's coming back to bite me in the ass... SO what's the best way to that the thing out? It's supposed to get up to 45 or so today, and I'm going home at lunch to try starting it again, and because my wife wants her Jetta back. Is there anything else I should try? TIA-

JJ
